The Agricultural Advisory Committee consists of 14 voting members, including:

• three members representing Animal Commodity Groups;
• three members representing Plant Commodity Groups;
• two members representing Specialty and Niche Commodity Groups;
• one Director of the Regional Board;
• one person representing agricultural fair boards
• three persons representing local Agricultural Advisory Committees, i.e.
  • one from the Chilliwack Agricultural Commission;
  • one from the Agriculture Advisory Committee for the City of Abbotsford
  • one from the Agricultural Advisory Committee for the District of Kent.

The Agricultural Advisory Committee may also consist of non-voting members including:

• a representative from the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands
• a representative from the Provincial Agricultural Land Commission;
• A representative from the Fraser Valley Regional District; and
• others, as necessary.
